Massage is a lovely gift that you can share with your baby. It is a natural way of making quality time to talk, share and bond with your baby, which may not always come easily to some of us.
This therapy has been used in many Eastern cultures for centuries and whilst each culture may have differing beliefs surrounding the reasons for practising massage on their babies, they all acknowledge that in doing so it has many benefits to both the giver and receiver.
Baby massage is now a popular therapy in Western cultures too and something that I would love to share with you! I have listed below some of the many benefits it can give to both you and your baby; some benefits have also been medically researched and proven to show positive effects.
As a guide, this course would be perfect for babies aged 1-7 months old, though if your Baby is younger/older please talk to me before booking so that I can manage your expectations. You may find that if your Baby is already actively on the move, they are unlikely to want to sit still for long enough for you to massage them and you may not enjoy the class experience. However, if you are interesting in joining us, then please contact me!
