About me

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me.  I believe that it is important for you to find the right therapist so that you receive the treatment you hoped for and it will also help you relax and enjoy your experience. 

 

I provide female only treatments either at The Village Therapy Room in Ticehurst or in the comfort of you own home.

 

Mobile Treatments

I am happy to travel to you so that you can enjoy a treatment in the comfort of your own home. Mobile treatments are for 60 minutes or more and are provided approximately in a 10 mile radius of Ticehurst (TN5 7BE). If you are unsure whether I will travel to you then please contact me to discuss.

A room on the ground floor with enough space to put up my couch would be ideal. My couch is approximately the size of a single bed and I need a little wriggle room too.  I bring all the necessary equipment including towels, floor sheet and music.

Qualifications

Giving an effective massage is a highly skilled occupation, so you should know that I achieved my Level 3 Diploma by ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) in 2004.  I am a member of the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association - www.ctha.com / www.embodyforyou.com) and I am fully insured. Please feel free to ask me if you wish to see my qualifications or insurance certificates.

 

I really enjoy the work that I do and receive a great deal of satisfaction knowing that I have given you some quality "you time"; helping you to switch off, relax your mind and re-balance your body.

Benefits of Massage

Massage has many physical benefits as you may know, but did you know that it also helps to re-establish the body's equilibrium?  There are many causes of such imbalances in our body but we have an amazing ability to heal ourselves if we just take the time to listen closely to what our body is trying to say.

 

I truly believe that massage can help encourage the healing process and over time restore these imbalances.  We cannot under estimate the power of touch as it soothes and relaxes; stimulates the systems of our body encouraging improved circulation, aiding digestion, neural communication and promotion of skin and cell regeneration; and psychologically calming the mind, taking the opportunity to switch off or put your stresses into perspective.
